    CEU FAqs

    Q1. What are CEUs?

CEUs stand for Continuing Education Units and is a general term that refers to learning objectives that are used to meet one of the requirements to renew and/or maintain a license or certification. Each profession has standards their members must meet for continuing education, and it also commonly varies from state to state.

While CEU is a generalized term, many healthcare licensing boards develop their own unique term to better describe the process. For example, medical practitioners earn CMEs, which is defined as continuing medical education; and acupuncture licensing boards may call them PDA (professional development) points. We use the general term CEU, however each licensing board has their own term or lingo. If you have additional questions in this area, please contact ceu-support@cellcore.com for clarification.

Q3. I’m eligible for CEUs, how do I register for them?

When you register for ECO you have an option to register for a ticket + CEUs. You will be asked to provide the following information that our co-sponsors need to issue CEU credit:

    • Full name

    • Practitioner type

    • Credentials

    • Mailing address &/or business address

    • Phone number

    • State(s) you practice in (ex. Acupuncturists and DCs)

    • License or certificate number (for each state you practice in and are requesting CEUs)

If you have already purchased your ECO ticket without CEUs and would like to add them to your registration, please email ceu-support@cellcore.com. You will be emailed a link to pay the additional CEU fee. Once your payment is complete your registration will be updated.

Q4. What does the CEU fee cover?

The CEU fee that was paid along with your registration covers the application fees for each practitioner type and in some cases, fees for each state accepting our CEU application. If for some reason your state or license board does not accept our application to offer CEUs, the affected practitioners will be notified via email and their CEU ticket fee will be refunded within 30 days of the event.

Q5. Are there any other requirements to earn CEUs?

    Yes, our co-sponsors require:

    • All attendees must complete a conference feedback survey. The survey will be sent via email shortly after the event.

    • Attendees will only be eligible for the number of CEU hours based on their time in attendance.

    • Virtual attendees:

      • Complete a test over the conference information with at least an 80% score.

      • This test will be divided into 3 daily quizzes and the links to complete these quizzes will be made available on the Live Stream site.

      • Each of the daily quizzes cover the sessions/material covered on that specific day. It’s open-note format - so feel free to refer to the PowerPoint notes you can download when completing the quiz.

      • You can take a quiz as many times as you like until you pass with at least an 80%.

      • All quizzes must be completed within 24 hours of the event ending in order to meet the requirements set by our co-sponsors.

Q6. How many hours of CEUs can I earn at ECO?

This amount varies by profession and in some cases, by state. On average we’re able to offer between 5-20 hours of CEUs at ECO. Of course, the attendee is only awarded the number of hours that they are actually attending LIVE (either virtually or in-person). We are not approved to offer CEUs for watching recorded material.

Here’s a current list of the number of hours we’ve applied for:

    1. Acupuncturists through NCCAOM - 22 hours.

    2. Acupuncturists through California Acupuncture Board - 21.5 hours.
    1. Chiropractors through Logan University (all states except NY, TN, and WI) - 20 hours.

    1. Chiropractors through the Tennessee Chiropractic Association - 20 hours for in-person attendees, 6 hours for virtual attendance.

    1. FDN’s - 20 hours.

    1. Homeopathic practitioners - 5 hours.

    1. NANP practitioners - 20 hours.

    2. National Board of Health & Wellness Coaches (NBHWC) - 21 hours

    1. Registered Dietitians - 22 hours.

Q7. When do I get my CEU certificate?

Our staff will compile all the attendance reports and send them to our co-sponsors within a week of the event. Then our co-sponsors will take up to 30 days to complete and email CEU certificates to practitioners. In the case of DC practitioners, your CEU certificate will also be sent/uploaded to your State Board.

Since CEU certificates are emailed to practitioners, please check your email spam or junk folder starting at 2 weeks after the event. If you do not receive your certificate within 30 days of the event, please contact ceu-support@cellcore.com.

Q8. How will I receive my CEU certificate?

Your CEU certificate will be emailed to the email address provided at registration.

Q9. What if I don’t receive my certificate within 30 days?

If you don’t receive your certificate at the email address provided upon registration, first thing - check your spam or junk email folder.

If you still don’t have a copy, please notify our support team at ceu-support@cellcore.com. They will share your request with our CEU co-sponsor(s) to get another certificate emailed to you.

Q10. Can I earn CEUs for more than one state? Or more than one profession?

Yes, you can earn CEUs toward multiple state licenses (in the case of our Acupuncture or Chiropractic practitioners).

When completing the registration for ECO, indicate each profession that you are eligible for CEUs, plus the license or certificate number associated with each profession. For example - Acupuncture certificate #12345 and Chiropractic in Alabama #CHI 3456.

For those attendees requesting CEUs for multiple professions or multiple states, you’ll pay only one CEU fee.

Q11. I forgot to get my CEU ticket, can I still earn CEUs?

If you attended virtually, please contact our Support team at ceu-support@cellcore.com within 30 days of the event. We’ll pull your attendance report and invoice you for the CEU fee.

If you attended in-person, you will need to speak to one of our ECO staff members at the event to get registered for a CEU ticket and complete the sign-in process for each morning and afternoon session.

We’ll only be able to issue CEUs to attendees who we can download an attendance report for; so it’s imperative that in-person attendees either have their name badge scanned or use the sign-in sheets at the entrance to the venue to record their attendance AT THE EVENT.

We are unable to issue CEUs for in-person attendees who decide AFTER the event that they would have liked to earn CEUs.

Q12. I don’t see my profession on the approved list of CEUs, can I still earn them?

Unfortunately, not. We can only issue CEUs to those professions that we’ve received approval for.

At this time, we are unable to offer CEUs to:

    • Aromatherapists

    • Ayurvedic practitioners

    • Dentists/Orthodontists/Oral Surgeons

    • Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) - in any specialty
